RV campground in the heart of the Hoh Rain Forest with moss-draped old-growth trees, family trails, and nightly ranger programs.
The Hoh Rain Forest is one of the last temperate rainforests in the US, and this campground drops you right into it. Massive Sitka spruce and big-leaf maple draped in lime-green moss surround every site. The Hall of Mosses loop is an easy half-mile wonder for young kids, and the Hoh River runs just steps away.
Hoh Campground sits at the heart of the Hoh Rain Forest, one of the largest temperate rainforests in the United States, receiving up to 14 feet of rainfall per year and carpeted in thick mats of club moss and ferns. The Hoh River corridor supports one of the largest intact Roosevelt elk herds in the Pacific Northwest, and the valley is one of the quietest natural soundscapes in the lower 48 states. From camp, the Hoh River Trail stretches 17 miles into the Olympic high country, connecting old-growth rainforest to glaciated alpine terrain in a single continuous wilderness corridor.

Loop B has the widest, flattest sites and best RV manoeuvrability — request sites 50–75 for the most space. Sites 1–25 in Loop A put you closest to the Hoh River and are most scenic but can be damp in wet weather. The Hall of Mosses trailhead is a short walk from any site. Raingear is essential year-round; morning mist clears by midday in summer.
